Neuron SpikerBox Classic
Explore real neural activity with a simple, affordable single-channel neural signal amplifier.
The Neuron SpikerBox Classic is a single-channel bioamplifier that brings real electrophysiology into the classroom, lab, or home. Hear action potentials from live invertebrate neurons, then view, record, and analyze them with our free Spike Recorder app.
Connection options depend on your device. Computers and laptops can use the included blue cable with a separate microphone input, the green cable with a combined headphone/microphone jack, or Micro-USB. Phones and tablets use the green cable and may also require a compatible USB-C adapter.
Please note: The green smartphone cable and Micro-USB cable are sold separately.
For two-channel recording and for more advanced experiments, choose the Neuron SpikerBox.
